Staying Fit at SFO

Late last year we produced an exercise video DVD for San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The project had its beginnings in 2007.  We were approached by Vivienne Fleischer and Andrew Blumenfeld of Performance Based Ergonomics.  They provide ergonomics training for employees at SFO.

FAQ: What should I wear on camera? (part 2)

Most guidelines we see say things like "don't wear stripes or plaids" or "avoid bright colors".  There is a technical basis for this kind of advice.  A lot of it has to do with the limitations of video cameras.

FAQ: What will my video cost?

Typically, somewhere between $500 and $50,000.

It is a bit like asking "what is a new car going to cost me?"  The real question is what does your video need to do for you, and what resources (time, budget) are you able to apply toward it.

Flamenco in San Francisco

In mid-December our friend Kaweh called us and asked if we were willing to do a gig in the city on short notice.  The dance company Caminos Flamencos were performing at the Cowell Theater in Fort Mason December 18-20.  These performances were going to be their best ever.  It would be the perfect opportunity for them to get new footage for a new demo.  It sounded like fun to us.

I'm ready for my close up...... or am I?

On some video sets there is a make up and hair artist. Enjoy it. Otherwise, here are some field tested suggestions:

Welcome to our new website

We are happy to present our new website.

It is still under development, but we don't want to make you wait until it is finished.  In fact, it will never be finished.  We will always be adding to it and making improvements.

The site is the result of our collaboration with Deb Shea and Mike Lin of Hellbent Marketing.  Hellbent developed the initial design, and we added elements to make the video deployment simple and flexible.

We invite you to return early and often, and watch us grow!
